Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade, making each piece uniquely yours.
Our leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Full Grain: Meticulously sourced from the finest hides, this premium material boasts unique textures and character, showcasing nature's artistry at its best. As time passes, watch as its surface develops a unique patina, telling your personal journey through the years. Unlike processed leathers, full grain leather stands the test of time, due to its unmatched strength and resilience. Its dense fibers offer exceptional resistance to wear, cuts, and moisture, our full grain leather ensures lasting beauty that only gets better with age.
Top Grain: Top-grain starts from the same premium zone of the hide but is lightly sanded and finished for a more uniform surface. That light correction softens and evens the face while keeping most of the strength you want. Takes pigment and protective finishes beautifully, which helps with colorfastness and stain resistance. Ages gracefully, especially when we keep the finish thin enough to let the leather breathe and break in.
We use top-grain when a smoother cosmetic is the goal—think color consistency across large panels—without walking away from the core strength you expect from a Portland bag.
Pebbled: Unlike most brands that use artificial stamping methods to create patterns, our pebbled leather is achieved through a natural tumbling process. The distinctive raised, pebble-shaped texture adds sophistication and makes a bold statement wherever you go. But it's not just about looks—pebbled leather is built to last. Worried about daily wear and tear? Don’t be! The unique pebbled surface ages gracefully, developing a natural patina that will evolve for years to come!
Suede: Our suede leather begins with an intricate process: the hide is split to separate the soft underside from the top layer. This top layer is then tanned, buffed, sanded, and dyed to create the signature velvety texture that defines high-quality suede. Naturally slouchy and pliable, suede leather ages gracefully, developing a rich patina that tells its own story over time. Most natural imperfections are gently smoothed away during production, while subtle traces—like healed veining and the soft, napped surface—are preserved to celebrate the leather’s unique character and charm.
Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade—making each piece uniquely yours.

The perfect coin purse
by: Christine L.
Works great when I don’t want to bring my big wallet
So much fun!
by: Renee
I purchased The Succulent and Foxglove Gorditas and they are absolutely beautiful! I love the brushed leathers. This pouch is adorable as flair, but it's also perfect size for my keys, small make up pouch. Love them!
My favorite pouch
by: Chloe F.
This is my go to bag flair/pouch. It fits a jewelry organizer in it perfectly!
Gordita-licious!
by: Bethany C.
I went back and forth for awhile trying to decide if I wanted this pouch or not. I thought it was kind of boring and was hoping for a new pouch design. I decided to just go for it since so many people seem to like them and I’m so glad I did! I’m absolutely in love with my Gordita in Nutmeg!! It smells incredible & is so much bigger than I expected. I used it on vacation as a wallet recently and had room to spare!
Roomier than expected
by: Jennifer D.
I wanted something to keep my phone charger in and I can fit the charging block, a 10 foot cord, my wired earbuds, and my loop earplugs! Very happy.
Buttery Leather
by: Nancy B.
I love all three of the pastel gorditas: Skyway, Shadow Lime and Butter Bliss. I've gotta say Butter Bliss lives up to the name... the perfect amount of slouch and pebbly softness!
Perfect for essentials
by: Maribel R.
I love the Gordita pouch, grabbed it in Nutmeg. It matches my big big tote where it lives hanging most of the time. It’s easy to unclip and put inside any other bag. I can fir everything pictured and it still stays flat. Love it!
Cute circle pouch
by: Courtney B.
I got this to start trying out different pouches to hold things. I have many bags but no "littles". It's cute and nutmeg is my very favorite color! Not sure what I will put in it yet, but I'm sure it will be useful.
My favorite little!
by: Georgia C.
I can’t get enough of these Gorditas! I use them for lipsticks, cash, meds and more.
Best Pouch for Dice
by: stacy y.
The Gordita is the best pouch for my dice, including my d100, that I use for tabletop games! I could even fit at least one more dice set!
This is the best little thing!!
by: Raine C.
I wasn’t sure what I would use this for but it is perfect for a lot of things. I use one to keep my chargers in and when I have to travel I can quickly throw it in my bag!

The best cord keeper/change purse ever! So practical and well made.
Spacious and Convenient
by: Heather
I love my clip on Gordita pouch! I needed a way to keep some smaller items from rolling around my larger tote bags (my large tote size shown for comparison) and this was the perfect solution. A zip pouch that hooks to the zipper (or handles if you have D-Rings) so I can easily access it. It can hold quite a bit! My AirPods, hand sanitizer, chapstick, and more! Now if only more colors were available I could purchase a couple for each of my bags!
My rainbow
by: Gail S.
Love the Gordita. I’ve been using it as a wristlet. It holds quite a bit.
Just the right size!
by: Heather S.
This is a cute, unique little pouch that can be used for so many different things! It’s a great “catch-all” for most any size bag. Love the watermelon shade too-
Love these Gordita pouches
by: cheryl d.
I just love these little Gordita pouches. I use them with “Angelina's Palace Velvet Jewelry Pouches Double Sides Travel Jewelry Organizer Portable Storage Bag for Necklaces Bracelets Watches Rings” while traveling to organize my jewelry. I even purchased a few more to include in my gifts for my friends annual Favorite Things Party.
Nutmeg gordita

Roomy pouch and I like the slim profile. Great for cards and cash, love it!
Customer Reviews
Gordita is the most convenient way to store small things.
Love it! I keep a round pill case in mine and clip it on my OS Zipper Tote. I need more for my other bags!
These make great flair backdrops
It’s perfect for my charger and cord because of the round shape. It’s easy to clip on the outside of your backpack.
Purchased as a gift! She loves having an easy pouch to hang outside of her bag and keep the essentials handy!
