Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I love the various wearability options of the large koala. It's spacious without being too large. It is a good alternative to Nora because of the adjustable strap and wider opening. I do think an additional center closure / magnet would be helpful as well as a stitch across the closure flap where it folds over to keep the bag from sagging when it is closed.

The Butter Bliss Koala is so pretty!! It's pretty squishy, but not as puddly as some pebbled colors. It's a light yellow, like the early morning sunshine. So gorgeous!! The medium Koala is a great size though! It holds comparably the same as the classic Nora for me, but it's a great option if you need to be hands-free. And the magnetic closure is more secure than I'd imagined.

I have the large Koala in Sienna. I really love the color and the flexibility of the leather. Having the inside pockets is great for keeping my wallet easily accessible. The magnet closure is really nice because they are strong enough that your stuff stays inside, but also quick to open when you are grabbing your items. I wore mine on vacation in Florida after I received it, and it held my wallet, phone, sunglasses, and my fujifilm camera no problem (while also still having a bit of slouch.) Overall, very happy with this purchase!! It also goes perfect with basically every outfit!

I bought this small Koala sling bag to carry the essentials for quick errands and it is the perfect little bag! Meadow is such a gorgeous print and because it is a stiffer leather, it gives the bag great structure. I also love the longer strap on the small koala that allows me to wear it crossbody as well! I will absolutely be getting more small koalas in the future and would purchase the medium/large ones as well if the straps were just a bit longer on those!

The perfect sling bag! I have a large which I adore, so when I saw the medium in my grandma's favorite color (conalt), I thought it was perfect! She is loving it.

This isn’t my first koala and I doubt it’ll be my last. This medium koala is the perfect on the go bag. Small enough to throw into a tote & grab when I’m running in a store quick. But big enough to carry all my essentials needed as a daily bag. 10/10

My first Coldbrew and first Koala was such a pleasant surprise! I was struck by the softness, squishiness and the touchable pebbled leather. I just want to keep touching it. The medium holds my basics and the magnetic closure is so secure. The style is a great everyday carry. I only wish the strap was removable. Guess I need some flair instead!
